First State Garrison is part of a worldwide organization – the 501st Legion, uniting nearly 14,000 Star Wars fans from over 60 countries. We bring the Star Wars universe to life by participating in events and promoting high-quality costumes of characters from the Galactic Empire including stormtroopers, Imperial officers, bounty hunters, and Sith Lords.

Become a Member

If you own a replica of a pro-Imperial Star Wars costume, are over 18 years old and wish to become a member of the 501st First State Garrison Legion, please follow the procedure below:

You must complete the 501st Legion application located on the Legion home page.
Prepare good quality photos of yourself in the outfit (front, back, side)
Our Recruiting Officer (GML) will contact you and, based on the photos, assess whether the uniform meets Legion requirements.
